The Team at Fleet Innovations gathered their international friends from far and near and donned their runners for the Kidderminster’s Kemp hospice annual 10k Santa fun run.
The Santa fun run last Sunday(7th Dec 2014) saw over 340 Santa’s running through Brinton’s Park, along canal paths and down Marlpool lane to raise nearly £18000 for the local charity.
Kemp Hospice offer specialist care and support to patients, families and carers who are dealing with life limiting illness and bereavement. They help people to maintain their independence or support adaption to changing abilities so that they can live their lives to the full for as long as possible.
Katie was given the opportunity to see the amazing facilities at Kemp Hospice and saw first hand where the money they raised goes.
After being shown around the facilities Katie commented, ‘Kemp Hospice is a fabulous charity and we are glad that we can be of help and give something back to the local community.’
The PEAK International team had very respectable times for their 10k raging from 55 minutes to 1hr 19 minutes and more importantly they have raised over £500 for Kemp Hospice by running the Bupa 1/2 Marathon and the 10 K Santa fun run.
